This beautiful beach on Timber Island is a excellent place to stop for lunch, a stroll, and a swim. Mostly sand with pebbles and boulders especially at its edges, the beach drops steadily into the clear depths of Whitefish Bay. Timber Island is just east of the main route for boaters between the Sioux Narrows in north and the south-end of Whitefish Bay.
