The lake is finally starting to freeze over. The main lake is trying to skim over, but the wind has been out of the SW and keeping it open. All bays are frozen, as well as Lobstick Bay, the east end of Long Bay, and around the bridge area in Sioux Narrows. Won't be long before we're all skimmed over. The temperatures have really dipped down lately and today was only a high of 10 F (-12C) and has been cool over the past couple of days. It's supposed to get down to the -15F (-26C) by the end of the week, so that should make so ice quick. Old man winter is really making his presence known!
