As the month of December rolled in, it also brought us some winter. We have been receiving about an inch of snow everynight the past few nights and the temps have been in the mid 20's. This week is supposed to cool down into the single digits, so old man winter is on his way. The lake is still open, and it could be another 10 days before we see Regina Bay freeze, and about the mid of the month before the deep hole in Whitefish Bay freezes over.
