The cottages on the point
Cottage #7,9,&10We have gotten a little dusting of snow since all the freezing rain over the weekend, but the sun is out today and temperatures are right at 32F (0C)and things are beginning to melt. Water temps are 40 degrees, so won't be long now until the back bays are starting to skim over with ice.

Looking pretty slippery
The trees are drooping with ice.Over the weekend we received freezing rain which has coated everything with a layer of ice. Definately need gripper spikes on the boots to walk around. Temps are calling to be in the above freezing range mid-week, so most of this will likely melt off.

Hi Scott, at my age I would need more than gripper spikes to get around, how about on all fours.

The maple in site 20The leaves are starting to turn, with the birches in full yellow and some already starting to drop their leaves. The poplar trees are just starting to turn, but most are still green yet. The maples are in their prime right now with very vibrant reds! We had a good frost last night with temps down to just below the freezing mark, but the sun is out now and beginning to warm.
