How has the musky fishing been of late...and does anyone do any nightime musky fishing up there? and are the results better around a full moon holding true the theory of full moon means more active musky? what has been yielding the most musky of late? topwaters below surface what are the hot lures?

The muskies have been pretty active and mainly hanging around the reefs and piles right now. Using topwater's and shallow diving baits have been yeilding the best results. Lake temps are in the high 60's and have dropped about 4-5 degrees over the last few days due to the rains and wind.

Does anyone reading know where I can find some hellbender lures for my father in-law? I am on a mission and so far have been unsuccessful. Thanks. Sincerely, Lisa

I heard Hellbenders were excellent for Pike. I recently purchased around 10 of them on ebay from a couple individuals for less then I would pay for new crankbaits. I will be trying them on July 1 at Tomahawk.

The one thing that is said to work the best is a Hellbender Whopper Stopper. They don't make them anymore, but I bought a few very nice hellbenders on ebay very cheap. The price for all four was about 20 dollars, that's including shippin

I have not stayed at Tomahawk Resort, but have fished LOTW before and you can't go wrong with chartreuse or white. Also jigging spoons are great for vertical jigging in 15' - 25' water off rocky points for walley
