large mouth bass

have heard about all the large mouth bass up there and i have never found any, will be makeing a trip to lake of the woods 1 week of aug. looking at the map, can anyone tell me if the large mouth is in astron bay or beaver inlet

The only time I was able to catch large mouth bass was back in Snake Bay. We were fihing for Smallies and started catching Large Mouth Bass instead. Otherwise I usually catch only one ot two during my week stay on LOTW.

thanks i know they catch a lot of them they have a tournament in kenora every year and there are limits brought in each day
