I don't know about heading out. Judging by the light of day, I'd say the morning is half over. You do need to consider the source though. Hope everyone is having a great time this year!!! Tomahawk is the best on the lake

Lake Traffic Report

Beautiful Morning at Tomahawk Resort!

Fire Island Narrows (N. end of Whitefish Bay)

During the past few days we have had some beautiful weather with temperatures hitting close to the 80 degree mark. Water temperatures are warming up quickly and we are now starting to see a few guest going swimming at the beach. The above pictures were taken while I was doing the "Eye in the Sky" an early morning traffic report over Sioux Narrows on Monday. The boat traffic I seen (about half a dozen boats) were motoring along to their favourite fishing holes with no concerns other than what fishing lure they where going to start the day with!

Tomahawk Resort in November

This photo was taken last week, before putting my plane away for the winter. We have had a few snow flurries come throught but yet to have any snow stay on the ground for winter. Temperatures yesterday held in about 25F and dropped down to 22F last night. We have been having a fair amount of wind this past week, so it has been tough to make any ice. Had there been no wind yesterday and last night, we would probably be seeing a lot of the small bays froze over today. Regina Bay usually freezes over around the 1st of December, so it won't be to much longer

Awakening to winter

We woke up thismorning to a fresh layer of snow on the ground. This is the first one that we've had stay on the ground. Winter isn't too far away as the small ponds and marshy bays are beginning to skim over with ice.
