What a fun way to cool off on a hot summer's day. Hopefully won't be long until we can be doing this again! Thanks to Sheila R. for sharing this neat shot.

This raft of loons were out for a summer sunset cruise. Gearing up to do their calling for the evening.

We have been getting a nice fall so far this year. The leaves have really turned to their autumn colours with all the vibrant yellows and bright maple reds. A very beautiful time of the year!

This sunrise was captured by the Lykken family group from the deck of cabin #7 while up here last week. Great shot! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks to Pete Kurth for sharing this cool rainbow shot after a quick rainshower rolled through while up here the other day. There is always a pot of gold (a big golden walleye) at the end of the rainbow!

As the lake temps are cooling, this is the deep hole by Three Sisters Islands out in Whitefish Bay. This basin is the deepest spot on all Lake of the Woods!

The leaves are in full colour with everything all turned to yellow or red. These are some shots that were taken while out on the lake today. We've had two hard frosts already, which have really put a rush onto the turning of the leaves.

Pleasant memories and beautiful pictures Scott. P.S. Looks like it would be a little tricky navigating in and out of Blueberry Bay now.
