Pretty solid at the beach yetThere hasn't been much for melting these past few days as the temps have been quite cool. Thismorning we woke up to -13C (14F) and the high didn't get near to the freezing/melting point with a crisp NW wind. But even with the cool weather, the sun's UV rays are getting stronger so the ice has honeycombed more. The snow is still tight to the south shorelines but the bays are beginning to look a little tough. Forecast this coming week is to stay cool and freeze hard again tonight, but then begin to warm up by the weekend.
